About the Food from Dutch Country Catering

All dishes are made from scratch using time-tested Amish recipes.

Only quality-grade meats are used.

We shop for local produce whenever possible, and grow most of our own corn.

All breads are freshly baked.

We are fully licensed and certified for catering in the state of Pennsylvania.

Service Options

Our staffed buffet service allows your guests to serve themselves from an attractively prepared buffet table featuring all of your selections. Great for weddings, banquets, company picnics, and more.

Pricing varies from event to event, depending on a variety of circumstances. Please contact us to schedule a tasting or get a quote.

Availability

Our catering services are available 6 days a week from Monday through Saturday. Need Sunday service? We can prepare your catered meal and deliver everything to your location on Saturday.

Ask questions—and we’ll answer them all.
Decide if you want to pick up your food, have it delivered, or if you’d like us to staff your event.
We’ll quote a price.
You’ll pay your deposit and sign a contract.

Travel Fees apply to events more than one hour from our facility in Manheim, PA (starting at $1.60 per mile).

Book An Event

If You’re Picking Up:

If you’re picking up food from our facility, we will give you a day and time to arrive. As mentioned above, we are closed on Sunday, but you are welcome to pick up cooked and chilled food on Saturday with reheating instructions.

If We’re Delivering:

We offer an economical drop-off service that includes simple food delivery to the location of your choice. Great for smaller parties or larger events where staffing is already provided.

All food will be delivered in disposable containers unless arrangements have been made to fill your containers or serving dishes. You may also rent our coolers or hot boxes and return them after the event.

We will arrive 15-30 minutes before our scheduled time, place the food on the buffet table…and you take it from there.

For Staffed Events (Options #1, #2, & #3 Above)

If you’ve ordered a staffed event, we will deliver the food, set it up on the buffet table(s), and provide sufficient staff for the option you’ve chosen.

We just got Merv and his crew to cater lunch for our contractor event at Zimmerman Mulch Products and cant say how pleased we were! The food was AMAZING! We got various comments on the tender pot roast, and tasty BBQ chicken! Definately give 5 stars! Service was great, and meal was served in a very efficient manor. Merv has a wonderful catering service and invited my fiance' and myself to his home for a tasting for our upcoming wedding. I highly recommend his pulled pork, pulled chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, peanut butter spread, and buttered noodles.
